GlouX9 • 1 yr. ago. Both actually. Initially i played on mouse& keyboard (i mapped the attack and parry buttons on left and right click, blasphemy, i know) but after 10 hours I switched to a controller. It took a little getting used to but in the end i think I couldn't beat the game without it.

Keyboard controls actually aren't that remappable. You can't remap arrow keys, WASD and L. Both arrows and WASD are locked to movement, and L is locked to dodge. Furthermore, there's no even the option to rebind movement keys. This makes me unable to configure the controls in any plausible way. If this is the case, the remappable field should.

You can't use a mouse in Blasphemous, so it's Controller or Keyboard. As a WASD fan, I say absolutely the keyboard (then again, I refuse to play any game with a controller because it feels unnatural and idiotic compared to a keyboard). There's nothing wrong with it despite what the others say.

What did work for me: - Installing a driver from the Razer Support page. The driver that's been installed when connecting the controller to Windows first time apparently wasn't enough. Now Windows detects it as "HID-compliant game controller" and it works with Blasphemous. Post edited November 22, 2019 by LuxLucet.
